I've spent a lot of time in Eastlake: eclectic, funky, and REALLY varied in housing styles: from townhomes, to floating homes, and almost every style of house between.

I-5 sandwiches the hood all the way down to the water, but 5 minutes will getchya to South Lake Union below; N Capitol Hill and Madison Park to the East, or the U district due North--

all providing plenty of nooks and crannies to explore or slip into after your morning kayak around Lake Union.
